Alchemy Wireless was founded in May 2014 and is based in Birmingham, UK. The Managing Director is Dr Rob Harrison who has over 15 years' experience working in the wireless communications field and was previously Director of 3G Development at BlackBerry and before that was the Principal Engineer at Telelogic and Real-Time Products. His background is in real-time embedded systems software development and test and has consulted for many blue-chip companies in the telecommunications, defence and aerospace industries over the last 30 years.

The AW team is still composed of many of the original BlackBerry developers and has an excellent rapport, great team working spirit and good balance of skills across architecture, development and test.

Our focus is to offer consulting and outsourcing facilities to companies working in the wireless communications industry, particularly in the IOT and 5G areas and to those that need to get to grips with the world of Big Data and to leverage our long experience of developing and supporting real-time embedded devices.

The company has its offices near the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham.
